Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Descria, operated by LDG Global Consulting Inc. (“Descria,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information when you use descria.ai and our related applications and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up — including through Google, Apple, or Microsoft sign-in, or by email — we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address. We do not receive or store your sign-in provider password.
Your design inputs. Images of spaces, floor plans, briefs, prompts, preferences, and other materials you upload or enter to use the Service.
Outputs and design activity. The renders, critiques, and specifications the Service generates for you, and how you interact with them — including which directions you keep, refine, accept, or reject. This activity helps the Service improve its design reasoning.
Usage and device data. Log data, device and browser information, and general usage patterns collected automatically as you use the Service.
Payment information. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited information such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and secure the Service and generate your Outputs;
- maintain your account, process payments, and provide support;
- improve the Service and our design-intelligence systems, including how the Service evaluates and recommends design directions;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms;
- communicate with you about your account, updates, and (where permitted) relevant offers; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. Confidentiality and How We Treat Your Project Data
We understand that designers and their clients work with sensitive, confidential material. Project data you designate as confidential, or that we classify as confidential, is protected and is not used to train design models that are shared across customers without your consent. Where we use data to improve the Service, we work with aggregated or de-identified information wherever practicable. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your confidential project content with other users or with third parties for their own marketing.
4. How Information Is Shared
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Service providers and infrastructure. We use trusted third parties to operate the Service — including AI model providers (such as Google) to generate Outputs, cloud hosting and compute, database and file storage, and payment processing (Stripe). These providers process information on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Descria, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Descria is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Retention may differ by plan — for example, free-tier projects and generation history may be kept for a limited period or only the most recent items, while paid plans may retain full project history. You may request deletion of your account and associated content as described below; some information may be retained where required by law or for fraud prevention.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — note that we do not sell personal information. Residents of the EEA/UK have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Service. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service and, where applicable, to understand usage and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.
9. Children
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International Users
Descria operates from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify account holders. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
